If legislative term limits ever needed a poster child, it would be Jim Moran (D-VA 8). It seems like each term he gets elected to makes him dumber. In a recent interview, Moran says:

The fact is that when you cover another 40 million people so that we and localities and so on don’t have to pay for uncompensated care — we pay for more than $100 million of uncompensated care through tax bills just in the 8th district alone — the fact is that when you cover another 40 million people, that’s hundreds of thousands of new jobs in the private sector for health professionals.

First of all, neither Moran or the website provides a source for the numbers. They both name “data from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services” without regard to a URL or even a report title. I spent about an hour trying to locate any report with these numbers in them. If you have a link to the ACTUAL report (not a summary or a news report quoting the report, please provide it in the comments).

Second, this statement fails the logic test. If $100 million of uncompensated care is paid through tax bills, why would we even need healthcare reform? Insurance companies, hospitals, doctors…pretty much any person within the healthcare profession have complained that the reform will cause costs to rise. In fact the Government Accountability Office has released several reports stating that health care costs will rise!

Third, you ask any doctor what their largest costs in business are. They will say two things: insurance and insurance. It costs doctors thousands of dollars to file insurance claims. Furthermore, doctors pay even more in malpractice insurance because the United States is the tort capital of the world.

What Moran and his like-minded drones do not realize is that health care is not a right! ACCESS to health care is a right, but services are not. No one should be denied the right to access a doctor or a hospital, regardless of their sex, religion, creed, etc. But the very fact that health care is a limited resource, it cannot be given away. It must be acquired.

It’s funny how Moran or the 111th Congress never took up tort reform. It’s probably because lawyers gave him $119,000 during the last election, making them the third largest donor category (for the purposed of categorization, I combined all defense related categories).

Unfortunately, Moran is so entrenched in his office that the only way he’ll get out of the 8th district is if he retires. Too bad basic math isn’t a requirement to be elected.

All over America, concerned citizens are showing up at Town Hall meetings and showing their disapproval of their elected lawmakers. Many of them are switching venues so they can hide behind “human shields” to avoid these citizens. Nancy Pelosi even pulled the “Nazi Card” by claiming she saw “swastikas” at these Town Hall meetings.

The White House wants people to report “disinformation” to flag@whitehouse.com. Barack Obama has even said he doesn’t want people who disagree with him to “do a whole lot of talking“.

This is nothing short of a desperate “President” trying to scare his critics into backing down. But, hey, if he wants to get a whole bunch of e-mails, that’s his business. I think We the People should report our neighbors for spreading disinformation. And I say we start with the Obama supporters.

No doubt that this community activist has enlisted a large army of kool-aid drinkers into doing his bidding. To level the playing field, we should do the same. In the next week, I’ll be debuting a website where fellow conservatives can report Obama supporters. Upload pictures of their bumper stickers (including license plates). Use the Freedom of Information Act in your state to obtain their address, phone number, and any other identifying information. That information will be publicly displayed for people to see.

Unlike the White House, this list will not be illegal since the information is publicly available. What people decide to do with the information is not up for the state to decide.

Once I have the website up and running, I’ll make another announcement on this site and on Twitter.

What Obama isn’t telling you is that there are many Americans that not only hates what he’s doing, but also abhors what is happening with the moral integrity of this country. It was We the People who fought Britain, not a politician. It was We the People that is supposed to control the country, not a politician. And it continues to be We the People who the government is to fear.

Sadly, this is no longer the case. Politicians stay in power because they have too much power. Much like King George to say the least. Even impeachment is impossible due to partisanship. Consider the Clinton impeachment. Passed the Republican-controlled house. Died in the democrat-controlled senate.

Many of the Obama-bots want a more liberal government, who provides health care for all, yet doesn’t want to pay for it. Yet many of these robots don’t realize is that the money comes from those snooty rich republicans they all hate. So here’s my idea: Let’s leave.

That’s right. I’m calling on a full-fledged sucession from the United States.

And no, I’m not kidding.

Think about it…it’s a win-win for both sides. The liberals get all the free health care they want. I don’t know how it’s going to be funded. Frankly, I could careless. They can have abortions, teach sex ed in school while failing to teach history. The conservatives will have low taxes, small government, no abortions…you get the picture.

I’ll tell you right now why politicans won’t support this: it puts power back to the people. It takes away their cushy jobs. And the federal government would lose a whole lot of money. Because when push comes to shove, most people are very conservative with their money. Most people will vote with their dollars even if they contradict it with their votes.

I would like to see the United States split into two. I don’t think we need a civil war. Quite frankly, I don’t think the liberals would have a standing chance since conservatives have more guns and ammo. And many more of them are stocking up.

But until this happens, we’ll have to try to make due with what we have. Take a look at my last article: My 3-2-1 Plan

The World Net Daily reported Tuesday that a citizen grand jury issued an indictment against Obama. The charges are fraud and to, one and for all, prove that Obama has a legitimate claim to the presidency.

While I am not one of the people who believe Obama is not a citizen, the fact that so many people have blindly accepted this fact has caused me great concern. Several law suits have already been issued and quickly dismissed. However, there has been little to no information from the Obama camp to assuage these charges. Their silence has only deepened the controversy to the point that I am beginning to wonder why the president refuses to acknowledge this question.

Senators have taken the issue from their constituents and pretty much replied, “Whatever. Get a life.” But I found this particular reply interesting:

Sen. Mel Martinez, R-Fla.: “Presidential candidates are vetted by voters at least twice – first in the primary elections and again in the general election. President-Elect Obama won the Democratic Party’s nomination after one of the most fiercely contested presidential primaries in American history. And, he has now been duly elected by the majority of voters in the United States. Throughout both the primary and general election, concerns about Mr. Obama’s birthplace were raised. The voters have made clear their view that Mr. Obama meets the qualifications to hold the office of president.”

Just because someone is elected by the people doesn’t mean that the elected is qualified as per the constitution. For example, we can vote for my dog by a huge majority. Yes, he can win the primary. And sure, he can win the general election. But it doesn’t mean that he can be president. I hope Senator Martinez isn’t suggesting that we completely ignore the constitution and only rely upon public opinion.

The problem I see with this whole issue is that the government as a whole thus far has suppressed these complaints. This is something that should be put to rest, once and for all. The court should rule that either Obama is duly qualified natural born citizen that can take the office of the President or that he isn’t.

The controversy has become incredibly strong. It needs to be put to rest.

I just saw a report where Obama blamed the Bush administration for creating the largest federal deficit. In the same speech, he says we need another economic stimulus package because people are “one letter away, one pink slip away” from economic disaster. Mr. Obama, do you not realize that this would increase the deficit? But I guess a lack of mathematical comprehension is a prerequisite to being a democrat these days.

Why is it that Obama as well as other democrats don’t like to encourage people to save? Instead, he wants to take money out of my pocket to give it to people who are going to waste it?

In fact, almost all laws that they introduce takes responsibility away from people and gives it to the government. Health insurance, mortgage bale-out, and even voting has gone from personal responsibility to government hand-out.

There is no incentive for people to save money. Why is this? The average American doesn’t have a savings or if they do, it’s less than $1000. We live in a culture that encourages us to spend way more than we make, using credit cards like they are free.

I don’t understand why people think that giving more responsibility to the government will make things better. Everybody has been to the DMV. If the government can make that more efficient, than I’d be more than happy to give the government more responsibility. Until then, I’ll keep my money.
